Vol. 1 No. 1 (2026)
We are pleased to present the inaugural issue (Vol. 1 No. 1) of the Journal of Social Inquiry and Perspectives (JSIP). This first edition marks an important milestone in our commitment to providing an academic platform for rigorous, context-based social research.
The articles featured in this issue address diverse and relevant themes, including employee engagement in the banking sector, the preservation of traditional cultural practices, the adaptation of traditional culinary enterprises to digital platforms, digital payment transformation among MSMEs through QRIS, and local community perceptions of tourism impacts in Berastagi. These studies reflect the dynamic interaction between social change, economic development, and cultural sustainability at local and regional levels. As an inaugural publication, JSIP aspires to foster critical inquiry, encourage interdisciplinary perspectives, and contribute meaningfully to scholarly discourse in the social sciences. We extend our sincere appreciation to the authors, reviewers, and editorial team whose dedication made this first issue possible. We hope this publication serves as a valuable reference for academics, researchers, and practitioners.
